Simple creation, beautiful outcome!
On the 12th of November we had a lovely evening making Tin Can Lanterns! This was a really lovely workshop where everyone chose their tins from the selection brought in by facilitator Charlotte and other volunteers and using an awl they poked holes in their tins and created some beautiful designs. It was a really relaxing process where people could be as creative as they liked. Some people painted their tins, others used stickers to decorate. Once we had all finished everyone was given some small LED tealights to put into their lanterns and we watched as they lit up. I was really great to see that the process had paid off and we had our very own little lanterns to take home.
