Christmas Card Making

Christmas fun and laughter

On the 10th of December, a Christmas arts and crafts workshop took place, bringing people in recovery together for a relaxed and creative afternoon focused on making handmade Christmas cards and gift tags. The session provided a calm and supportive space where participants could slow down, express themselves creatively, and enjoy meaningful connection with others who shared similar recovery journeys. Our volunteer Trish did an amazing job showing everyone how to do it and she was so great for organising it. Card making became more than a craft activity; it offered an opportunity for reflection, confidence-building, and creating thoughtful gifts for loved ones, reinforcing a sense of purpose, belonging, and wellbeing during the festive season. All the women who participated thoroughly enjoyed it and we are looking at maybe doing Easter cards next!
