See what joy was had at our Pride Party!
On the 13th of June, we hosted a truly fantastic Pride Party at the Eastbourne Recovery Café, bringing people together for an afternoon filled with fun, connection and celebration. The café was bursting with colour, from the vibrant soft drinks and delicious food to the rainbow-themed decorations that created a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Guests enjoyed dressing up in colourful wigs, expressing themselves through face paints, and taking centre stage with a lively karaoke session that had the whole room singing along. The event was a wonderful opportunity for people in recovery to celebrate individuality, build confidence, strengthen friendships and enjoy a positive, inclusive space where everyone felt accepted and valued. It was an uplifting and memorable day that perfectly reflected the spirit of recovery, community and Pride.
